In this day and age it's practically impossible to imagine a life without technology. There are a lot of arguments whether our dependence on gadgets is beneficial and if it's healthy in any form. Is technology beneficial? Absolutely. Is our dependence on it healthy? Not really.
Computers have become a necessity in everyday life. They are used in schools, banks, stores and all kinds of industries. Whether it's for communication or work, the efficiency of computers is absolutely undeniable. With just one click of a computer mouse a whole load of work that used to take hours can now be done in just seconds, benefiting the user in every aspect since it doesn't take much time.
Mobile phones and smartphones are also a big necessities in everyday life, the latter becoming more and more significant than "regular" mobile phones, whether it's because of their features or just their physique.
But, our addiction to these life changing devices is harmful. Whether it's for causing sleep deprivation or for making us more absent minded, technology gadgets are a lot more detrimental than people think, and that's why technology addiction is one of the biggest problems of the 21st century.
In conclusion; even though technology is fun and helpful it can be harmful to us, but that doesn't mean we have to run away from thriving, and progressive, pieces of technology.
